You want to build strength and connection? Sensible and tailored Clinical Pilates might be the right choice for you!

When working with clients, I often use Somatic Movement Education as a neurological warm up together with Pilates based exercises to get the right mix of mobility, control and strength.

In my highly tailored private sessions, we can utillise the Pilates reformer machine (originally designed to work with people with injuries!), small equipment like inflatable balls, resistance bands and loops, and the Magic Circle.

If your health care provider recommended starting Pilates, they generally think of the effect you can achieve from one to one individualised sessions, not a mixed level group class with 25 people in it.


My movement teaching journey after dancing restarted with teaching Pilates in 2012. Over the years, with the inclusion of somatic approaches and cues, my teaching has evolved away from the rigidity of a new teacher, without loosing sight of the importance of gaining strength.
My Pilates clients come from all walks of life, ages and experiences. I particularly enjoy keeping people fit and capable into the later stages of life, as well as people coming back to movement after surgeries, cancer, sports injuries or other life changing events.

I strive to make this movement system inclusive and accessible – not all movements in the repertoire are meant for everyone, but we can work with the ones that enhance your ability to move and that make you feel ready to take on hikes, bike rides, long walks and being social without dreading backpain creeping in.

My small private studio has a wood frame reformer that is low to the floor, as well as thick Pilates mats. I can recommend small equipment that is inexpensive and doesn’t take up much space for your home practice.

I often include breathwork, pelvic floor education and functional movement in Pilates sessions. If you are looking for a home exercise program, I can help you develop it.
