A month of action for resilience

I always love the @actionhappiness calendars -July is all about resilience! As a mum with a 5 year old on another 8 weeks of school holidays, I felt drained last year – all the things I thought I could get done over the summer and nothing happened. This year I'm changing my perspective – it'll be downtime for me. I will do the projects I enjoy doing and the rest can wait. I enjoy getting more rest during the day, work in the garden and the house, play with my son, rather than worrying about productivity. It nourishes my mental health rather than wearing it down.
